Today we enter the 3rd Dimension! We will build with 3D pens, mix bio-resins, mold clay on a pottery wheel, and learn how creativity and patience can be a deeply meditative experience.

We are using a 3D pen that melts PLA (Polylactic Acid) filament. PLA is made from plants like corn! Watch the hot plastic flow and cool down instantly to form 3D structures.
Focus: Using a low-temp pen (or with heavy guidance) to trace 2D shapes on paper and peeling them off. Fine motor skill development. Bodily-Kinesthetic
Focus: Learning to build up! Creating simple 3D shapes like a cube, a pyramid, or a pair of plastic glasses.
Focus: Understanding thermoplastics. Discussing the melting point and how bio-plastics degrade compared to normal plastics.

Resin starts as two separate liquids (Part A and Part B). When mixed, a chemical reaction happens that cures it into a hard, clear solid! We are using eco-friendly bio-resins to mold sculptures.
Focus: Placing tiny flowers, glitter, or beads into the silicone mold before the teacher pours the resin safely.
Focus: Learning that A + B creates a chemical reaction. Carefully pouring the mixture into the molds. Logical-Math
Focus: Exothermic reactions (curing produces heat). Measuring exact volume or weight ratios for the perfect cure. Naturalist

Understanding of the liquid-to-solid transition:
Working with wet clay on a spinning wheel is challenging but deeply relaxing. We must find the "center" of the clay, which requires focus, patience, and gentle movements. It is a form of active meditation.
Focus: Sensory play. Getting hands messy and feeling the wet earth. Bodily-Kinesthetic
Focus: Feeling the rotation of the wheel. Applying gentle pressure to shape a simple bowl without breaking the walls.
Focus: Centrifugal force and friction. Achieving a "Flow State" (complete mental absorption in the task). Intrapersonal

Once our sculptures and pottery dry, it is time to paint. Choosing colors, mixing shades, and focusing on the brushstrokes helps improve our creativity while acting as a calming, meditative practice.
Focus: Expressive color mixing. Learning how primary colors create secondary colors.
Focus: Painting with intention. Trying to stay within boundaries and adding patterns.
